Gilding has been applied selectively to edges and ornamental details, providing accent without overwhelming the composition. The color palette combines warm flesh tones with contrasting elements on the costume and wings, building a harmonious yet richly decorated whole.

The Art Deco style, whose influence is evident in this candlestick, flourished across Europe from the 1920s onward, drawing both from classical antiquity and from contemporary fascination with geometry and ornament. Figural candlesticks featuring putti referenced the Baroque tradition of decorative porcelain, which Art Deco reinterpreted through a modern lens combining ornamental richness with more stylized, streamlined forms. European porcelain manufacturers embraced such motifs, creating objects that balanced between functional art and small-scale sculpture.

It can function as a standalone accent piece or as part of a collection of figural porcelain. The socket accommodates a standard taper candle, allowing the piece to serve its original purpose as well as its decorative role.

Condition has been assessed as good, with no significant flaws. The gilding and polychrome decoration show no losses affecting the overall aesthetic quality.
