Italian two-seater sofa from the 1970s, designed in the spirit of Italian Modern aesthetics. The substantial, almost sculptural form combines the comfort of a deep seat with the relaxed silhouette characteristic of that era — soft, generously filled cushions contrast with the geometric, box-like base.

The construction rests on a wooden frame set upon low solid wood legs. The seat and backrest comprise three connected segments, each padded separately, lending the piece its distinctive undulating appearance. Wide armrests extend this same flowing line — rounded and gently sloping downward, they invite a comfortable resting position. The base, finished with vertical stitching, forms a visual plinth supporting the more organic upper section. This interplay between geometry and soft curves defines the design's character.

The 1970s marked a shift in Italian furniture design away from the minimalism of the previous decade toward more expressive, sensual forms.
