Description
A small spherical vase made in the 1960s, produced in Denmark.
A small vase with a spherical, minimalist form, reflecting the aesthetic of 1970s European artistic ceramics. The simple shape is broken up by a distinctive, hand-applied glaze in shades of warm red and orange, which softly transitions into a light, raw base. Visible traces of handwork and irregular colour transitions give the piece a unique, organic character. The small opening makes the vase ideal as a holder for a single flower or as a standalone, sculptural decorative accent. Objects of this type were often created in small European pottery studios, where artists experimented with glaze and form, producing short series or individual pieces.
Condition: preserved in its original condition; may have minor scratches and normal signs of use.
