Description
A porcelain vase featuring Kashubian motifs, produced in the 1980s in Poland.
A unique vase made from Polish porcelain, decorated with a classic Kashubian motif in rich shades of cobalt, green and red. The decoration draws on traditional folk design and is a fine example of the aesthetics of Polish functional design from the second half of the 20th century. The slender, elegant form, combined with the rhythmic arrangement of the ornamentation, gives the vase an exceptionally refined appearance, whether displayed on its own or in a floral arrangement.
Condition: preserved in its original condition; may have minor scratches and normal signs of wear.
