This vase was made in the 1970s in Denmark.
A decorative vase crafted from hand-formed art glass in rich shades of orange and red. The dynamic, undulating rim and the distinctive pattern of irregular speckles embedded in the glass give the piece exceptional depth and a sense of light in motion. Its form, reminiscent of a blossoming flower, and rich colour scheme make the vase a real eye-catcher and a striking decorative feature. This type of glass was particularly popular in European art glassworks in the 1960s and 1970s, inspired by Italian Murano design.
