Danish pendant lamp manufactured by Lyfa in the 1970s. The wide, shallow shade exemplifies the Scandinavian approach to lighting design, where the quality of emitted light matters as much as the object's form. The white metal surface reflects light downward, creating an even, diffused illumination beneath.

The construction relies on a clean geometric shape — a shallow disc spreading wide from the central mounting point, which houses a standard E27 socket. Proportions are carefully balanced: with a diameter of nearly half a metre, the shade remains notably slim, lending the piece a sense of lightness that prevents it from overwhelming the space it illuminates. The suspension system allows for cable length adjustment, enabling users to position the lamp at the ideal height for their room.
