This vase was made in the 1970s in Denmark.
A slender art glass vase with an elegant, elongated shape and a gently tapering neck. The transparent base is adorned with freely flowing bands in shades of green and cobalt, creating the effect of organic, almost painterly textures. The decoration, created using the technique of mass-coloured glass, gives each piece a unique character – the pattern is one-of-a-kind and changes depending on the light. The piece fits perfectly into the aesthetic of 1960s and 1970s Scandinavian modernism, where simplicity of form meets the expression of colour.
