Description
This vase was made in the 1970s in Denmark.
An elegant glass vase in a milky white colour with a decoratively wavy, ‘floral’ rim. The form is light and very organic – typical of the mid-century modern aesthetic, where clean lines and the play of light on the glass surface are key. The white, slightly translucent glass beautifully diffuses light, making the vase look subtle both during the day and under artificial lighting. Ideal as a standalone decoration, but it also beautifully showcases bouquets and single sprigs (e.g. eucalyptus, forsythia). It is an accessory that ‘elevates’ an interior and introduces softness without unnecessary colour. It fits perfectly into Scandinavian, modernist and minimalist interiors – a beautiful counterpoint to teak, walnut and chrome.
Condition: in its original condition, may have minor scratches and normal signs of use.
