A unique armchair designed in the 1950s by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, where they were used in the lobby and reception area. Model 3316 - popularly known as the 'egg' - is the absolute leader in designs associated with Danish design. A beautiful minimalist form produced at the Fritz Hansen factory in the 1960s.
Condition: Armchair after professional restoration. It is covered in leather from the "Elegance" series from Sørensen Leather, used by Fritz Hansen in an exclusive series of products.
