A Danish sideboard from the 1960s, strikingly low and remarkably expansive, veneered in rosewood. Its proportions defy conventional furniture design — the dramatically extended form reads less as storage and more as an architectural element, a horizontal line that defines the character of an entire room.

The construction centres on a long, uninterrupted top supported by slender, tapered legs. Painted black, the legs provide a bold contrast against the warm tones of the rosewood veneer, emphasising the visual lightness of the piece. The design features no closed compartments or drawers — this is a pure, open surface intended primarily for display. The project deliberately sacrifices storage function in favour of minimalist simplicity and visual coherence.
