Danish Brass Pendant Lamp 1960s Mid-Century Modern Conical Shade

A Danish pendant lamp from the 1960s, crafted in brass that has developed a distinguished patina over its years of use. The wide conical shade, measuring thirty-four centimetres in diameter, embodies the essence of Scandinavian design from that era — honest materials shaped into forms of quiet elegance.

The shade follows a timeless geometry: a narrow neck transitions smoothly into an expanding dome, finished with a gently curved rim. This proportion allows light to spread broadly and evenly across the surface below. The lamp hangs from a chain with a maximum drop of eighty-five centimetres, offering flexibility in positioning.
