Description
This cylindrical vase was made in the 1970s in Denmark.
A decorative vase with a simple, cylindrical form, crafted in the style of 1970s European artistic ceramics. The eye is drawn to the multi-layered, flowing glaze in intense colours – ranging from warm yellow through red to green – creating the effect of painterly, organic transitions. Vertical streaks and irregular glaze textures, formed during firing, are characteristic of this type of piece. As a result, each item has a unique surface pattern. The minimalist form highlights the decorative quality of the glaze itself, making the piece a striking feature in a mid-century modern interior. Ceramics of a similar nature were produced in many European workshops, particularly in Germany, the Netherlands and Scandinavia, where experimentation with colours and glazing techniques was common.
Condition: preserved in its original state; may have minor scratches and normal signs of wear.
