Description
This ceramic vase was made in the 1960s by the German manufacturer Scheurich.
This slender ceramic vase was crafted at the German manufacturer Scheurich Keramik, one of the most recognisable producers of decorative ceramics from the West German era. The form, with its elongated, elegant profile, is covered in decorative glaze featuring contrasting stripes – white and turquoise-green tones against a dark background. The distinctive, organic texture of the glaze creates an effect reminiscent of natural cracks and flows, typical of the aesthetics of the 1960s and 1970s. The minimalist yet striking form fits perfectly with the mid-century modern style and makes a strong statement in any interior. Stamped signature on the base: Scheurich / West Germany.
Condition: preserved in its original condition; may have minor scratches and normal signs of wear.
