Description
The ceramic bowl was made in the 1970s by the Danish manufacturer Søholm.
A decorative bowl from the Danish manufacturer Søholm – a classic of Scandinavian functional ceramics from the 1960s and 1970s. The bowl has a calm, low profile with a wide rim, giving it a very elegant and modern look despite the passage of time. The surface is adorned with natural, ‘earthy’ glazes in shades of beige, honey and brown, forming horizontal stripes and subtle tonal transitions – precisely that characteristic, warm feel of Danish design. This is an item that works perfectly as a decorative bowl on a table or chest of drawers, a fruit bowl, a base for a candle arrangement, or part of a vintage ceramics display. It fits perfectly into mid-century modern, Scandi and Japandi interiors, but also into natural, minimalist schemes where the texture and colour of the material are key. A highly collectable example of Søholm Danish ceramics – a muted colour palette, beautiful glazes and a timeless form.
Condition: preserved in its original condition; may have minor scratches and normal signs of wear.
